ITS COUNTDOWN TO GAME TIME FASU GAMES 2022

Kenya, is scheduled to host the 10th All Africa University Games at Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya.  Participants are expected to arrive for the Games from 3rd June 2022, compete from 6th – 10th June and depart on 11st June 2022.

Team Uganda Wins the 2022 FISU Cross Country Championship

Yeko Dismas from Ndejje University won Gold posting a time of 28:00 . Wangwe Brian came 3rd taking home Bronze with time of 28:12 . The other athletes included Otim Emmanuel who came 20th with a time of 29:26 . Cheptegei Sam came 38th posting a time of 30:56

10th All Africa University Games Kenyatta University 2022

The program includes: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Football, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball, Handball, Swimming, Taekwondo and Karate in both genders. Woodball, Roll Ball, Goalball, Sitting Volleyball and Gurasumo (Kenyan, Borana Traditional game) shall be for demonstration purposes.

Kenyatta University’s Waza Diana with a time of 38:03.0 won the women’s cross-country race at 5th Africa Universities Cross Country Championship 2021 at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture in Nairobi Kenya.

University of Johannesburg from South Africa emerged Champions for the second time at the 2nd FASU Kings of Africa Universities Rugby 7s Championship after squeezing past Stellenbosch University 14-10 in the men’s final.
