Just like the rest of the continents university sports system, Tunisia has restarted active sports participation in the country. 

It’s premier Institute, University in Sfax leads the way in organizing engaging sporting activities for its students. 

The institution organized its 1st athletics meet with over 400 students in attendance. This marked the return to large sports participation and gathering in the university sports system since the Covid 19 pandemic halted sporting activities around universities in the country. 

The meet was hosted by the Faculty of Medicine with 20 faculties under the tutelage of the University of Sfax taking a shot at being crowned champions. But it was the students of the Sfax business school who dominated to win this 1st edition. 

Head of University sports expressed gratitude for the success of the events to the University of Sfax, the Tunisian federation of school and university sport, the municipality of Sfax, the regional commissariat of youth and sports of Sfax and especially the association of ASSOCIAMED.
