Glitzsports which is a platform that brings you African University sports stories, introduces its first media Workshop on Saturday June 19th 2021 for student journalists interested in becoming sports journalists.

Glitzsport as a sports media organisation centres around the African University sport system. This is why we believe that facilitating the next generation of Sports Journalists through educational sessions are paramount to the growth of the university sports space. 

The introduction of the Glitzsport Workshop series is designed to equip student sports writers by engaging experts on pertinent processes of sports journalism. 

Our sessions offer insights from individuals with pedigree and brilliant antecedents in the sports journalism space. We are confident that these sessions will contribute significantly as we build lasting impressions for the next generation of sports writers.

The first edition will feature two of Nigeria’s finest print and broadcast journalists, Colin Udoh, Football Writer – ESPN, he is also the Head of Marketing and Communications BestBet360, 

Tracy Chapele-Ugo a (Pidgin) Sports Anchor/ Pidgin Commentator Socialiga with Wazobia 95.1 FM Lagos.

The Theme of this session is “Exploring the World of Sports Journalism” and topics to Explore includes;

“Write Right”Best practices for writing sports news stories 

“More Than a Voice” Engaging Radio Audience
