The entire Federation of African University Sports (FASU) mourns the death of the President of Somalia University Sports Federation (SUSF) Dr. Yusuf Alaso, who passed on Monday 1st March 2021.
Dr. Yusuf Alaso was very instrumental in the reactivation of University Sports in Somalia.
Condolences on the announcement of his death began to pour in from various places.
President of the Federation of Federation of African University Sports (FASU) Nomsa Mahlangu, “On behalf of the FASU Family sincere condolences to the Family, Friends and Colleagues. University Sport in the continent has lost an activist and a contributor to the Sport Movement. May Dr. Yusuf Alaso’s Soul Rest In Peace and Rise in Glory. We stand in Prayer with the Family and Colleagues May the Almighty God Grant you Strength during this difficult time”.
Other FASU member federations also expressed their condolences to the family of the late change maker and the SUSF family at large.
